Thank you in advance for any help. I wanted to install an aftermarket (jegs) tachometer because the stock digital one wasnt giving me accurate readings above 4krpm. I fastened the tach to the dashpad, removed the digital dash halfway to cut the white tach wire and reroute it to my new tachometer. Put it all back together new tach works ama tachzing but the rest of my dash is spazzing out.
When ignition is on but engine is off the digital display and tach both work great. The moment I start the engine the rest of the dash starts flashing and blinking and spazzing out is the best way to describe it. I only disturbed the white tach wire and have no idea what I did. Now I am going to have to race without temp/oil pressure/speedometer tomorrow. Tried disconnecting the tach same issue. My best guess is I broke the digital display somehow moving it to access the wire.
