Throttle slack
Hello all!
Bought a 1990 C4 and am going through all the maintenance and service items to bring her up to tip top shape. So far its been an awesome experience.
Question on the gas pedal / throttle cable:
Is it normal that i am able to lift up the gas pedal about an inch?
Also there seems to be a decent amount of slack in the cable by the throttle body. Couldn't see an obvious way to tighten the cable.
There is a bit of lag when I press on the gas to when i get a response.
Is there a way to tighten any of this? Or fix it in any way?
