LT1 differences

LT1 differences
Hi all, new member, new c4 owner. I bought a 92 and I'm planning to find an lt1 block to build. I may or may not be hearing a slight knock at idle after the car warms. My question is this: I understand the computer differences between the LT1's but are the engines the same? Or, am I stuck looking for a 92/93 core?
Thanks for all responses! No I'm not putting an LS in it. lol. Just looking for a good core.
Edit, also wondering if the Camaro blocks are the same?

The gen 2 lt1 blocks are the same other than 2 bolt main vs 4 bolt main. There are differences in heads, cams, timing covers, intakes, oil pans, and valve covers over the years, but the blocks are interchangeable.
