Default A/c hose replacement

Anyone here ever replace the rubber hose sections in their A/c lines with success? I was going to buy the complete lines but a few feet of hose and some crush sleeves are allot cheaper. I can get a press off amazon fairly cheap or take them to the lock hydraulic shop to press.

I'm curious about this myself. I already have a crimper and I'm curious about the quality of the replacement assemblies. If there are replacement crimp collars and hose that will work with the OE connectors I would be interested but have yet to pursue that.

Im interested in this bc i need to change the hose lengths to set the accumulator in the center vs. the pass side on my lt1 - in order to accomodate a d1-sc supercharger head unit on the pass side

so let me know if you find someone that does this
