Reverse Light Switch
Thanks to this forum, I attempted to replaced the reverse light switch on my 96 Coupe LT4. Here is what I learned after completing this job. Remove the slave cylinder is gives more clearance for your hand and wrench. Use a 7/8 inch offset wrench to remove the old switch. Thread the new switch by hand as much as possible and be cautious of the long pigtail as it tends to get wrapped around the new switch body. After securing the switch make the electrical connection and then reattach the slave cylinder. It is helpful to have another person to hold the salve cylinder until the nuts can be started. With this information the total job should take less than a hour to complete.
