Default Help diagnosing

hey y’all im posting this on behalf of my grandfather. Him and i have been trying to diagnose his 1990 corvette on it starting but not turning over. For starters is a fuel injected 5.7 im not familiar with with it stock and not but im guessing it doesn’t com like that stock. It does have some after market thing such as cap and rotor and wires. Other than that he has replaced the fuel pump, the fuel filter, and have replaced the battery today. We know it has good fuel pressure from the checking the fuel line (rack) other than it already it being replaced. He has had two technicians come to the house and spend a few hours on it with nothing to say. No fault to them. Figured i get on here and try our luck if there any other information you need or might want I’m be happy to answer as best i can thank you

Are you saying it turns over when you hit the key but doesn’t fire? If that’s the case, first place to start is check for spark. Easy way to do this is take an extra spark plug or pull one out if you don’t have one, pull one spark plug wire off at the plug, put it on the extra plug, lay it on something metal on the engine like a valve cover, crank the motor and watch to see if the spark plug fires. If you see a spark on the plug electrode then you either don’t have fuel or timing is way off. You can have fuel pressure but if the injectors aren’t firing it won’t reach the chamber. If the injectors aren’t firing, it gets a bit more complicated. Pulling a plug can tell you some information also. If the plugs are wet with fuel, most likely no spark. Try these things and report back. A lot of knowledge on this forum.

Definitely not a stock intake. As far as not turning over, you turn the key and nothing, it could simply a bad connection at the battery. Make sure it's fully charged and go from there. There's about a dozen other possibilities but start with easiest for now.

sqiurt some brake clean/carb clean/starter fluid in the intake to see if it lights off while cranking. that will tell u a few things!
