What fuel additive should I use on the vette after its been stored outdoors in the winter?
original owner kept it in the garage but current owner stored it outside covered . Chevron techron good enough?
Also prior to changing the oil, should i add anything in the current oil amd let it run a a bit before changing?
Something to help remove moisture if any?
Maybe a can of seafoam?
Here's my opinion... For the oil, the acids and water and solids may have separated over time, so it's probably best to warm up and drain/replenish with fresh oil. Perhaps add a little Marvel Mystery Oil or Seafoam before stratup, and can pull the plugs and give it a shot of lube, maybe overkill but couldn't hurt, and maybe a good incentive to change plugs if they are getting worn out anyway. For the fuel, fresh fuel is best, so if you had a half tank or less before parking, perhaps drain it and add fresh fuel. Should be fine for just winter storage. If it smells bad, definitely drain and change.
Problem is , its still at the previous owners house since i haven't taken posession yet. Weather permitting ill drive it to the mechanic to have it checked out. Then ,i take the car with me. Oil change and fuel drain won't happen that day. Should.i just bring a jug of fresh fuel to mix in woth the old for that ride?
Ill do the seafoodseafood crankcase like 30 mins before oil change which will be next appointment.
I see no reason to add fuel to existing unless you think there is a problem it. If it is running good why bother unless you need more fuel to get it home.
My take... If you want to run some techron because it's a new to you car, go for it. It being stored for a few months didn't make any of those fluids go bad, plenty of cars sit outside.
Drive it and get it hot. Any moisture content in the oil will get boiled off if you don't know when/what the last oil change was, do that when you get it home.
In general, relax, it's gonna be fine, nothing about being stored is bad for the car, especially just over a few months.

lol...i am fine. Its my ocd kicking trying to make everything perfect. Thats why I do what I do for a living. I look at the smallest details.
For fuel system/injector cleaning treatment, there are 2, ONLY 2 products that contain the ingredient that actually cleans the system properly, Techron and BG44K. They are the only ones that contain PEA . BG44K has a higher concentration than Techron. The rest of the **** you see at your parts store is mostly alcohol based... dont use them.
For oil additive, BG MOA is the go to for me and many other enthusiasts and mechanics. This is an excellent acid neutralizer and has many other great anti build up properties.
Do your own research, watch some YT vids and get some background on these.
Ive attended live demos and classes on the BG line of products. Pretty remarkable products when you see it work in a lab envirornment.
I like the Red Line Complete. But only once a year. Probably in a few weeks I'll dump a bottle in there and use up all of the fuel. It's probably around 3 months old.

If you can believe stuff written on the internet here is a cut and paste. Dan

It might be useful to go to the nearest auto supply store and put one can of every additive you can find into your cart - engine, transmission, rear end etc. After all, it's been stored for FOUR months and, as noted above, it "couldn't hurt". Unlike regular GM produced vehicles that often sit in a dealer lot for many more months, these 30 year old C4's are highly sophisticated and deserve all the TLC one can give.

Redline SI12 and Gumoir regane also contain PEA. Redline having the highest concentration of PEA you can easily find (you can actually buy pure PEA inexpensively and dose your car yourself if you're insane).
