Shopping around for a fuel pump, I came across pumps from GM and others less expensive generic ones on corvette depot.
is it worth getting the ac delco pump or will the less expensive one will do?
A few local uses strictly TI products for everything that they do. They've many choices. GM doesn't manufacture any longer and that other you mention buys only what's available for the least amount of $$, then sells generally for above market/

I'm in the process of looking for a pump for my C4. I put in an ACDelco pump a couple years ago (Box said made in China ). Put about a half hour use on the pump, and then life kept me busy with non-C4 stuff the past year or so. Tried to start the car a couple weeks ago and the fuel pump was No Op. Needless to say I won't be replacing that pump with another Chinese ACDelco pump.
Deatsch Werks fuel pump $100 with screen, gasket, and associated parts. Eliminate the fuel pulsator too. Mine was leaking causing fluctuating pressures and making the pump work harder. Just my 2 cents.

WVZR-1's link is what you want. Ony thing is ''there's ''no information to display'' when you click them to compare the part numbers for the search results returned for your specific pump.
I installed a Delphi fuel pump in my father in law's 93 last summer. It appeared to be a quality pump and has worked perfectly since. I am replacing the fuel tank in my 93 here in a couple of weeks and I was thinking of replacing the fuel pump while I was in there. I'm replacing the sending unit with an AC Delco unit and was also thinking about a new pump and what I could use other than the Delphi pump. I will also look into the pump that WVZR-1 suggested.
