Default Pinch Weld Jack Adapter

Thinking about buying this. Fits into pinch weld and holds with magnet so you can position the floor jack.
Anyone ever used one?

I bought those. And another set that advertised a shorter distance between where the pinch weld would rest and the top of the two verticals. You just need to be careful with placement, as the vertical can start bending into the fuel line or bending the fuel lines if you know what I mean.

I also recently purchased these.

I used them on another car and they worked just fine. I will try them on the C4 the next time I jack it up.

I bought them and send them back. They didn't fit the C4 with the body panel being right there too. I got rubber ones that have some flexibility, they work much better and have some give so they can go where you want them. At the end of the day, they don't really do anything but give you a little more lift. The jack will contact the pinch weld first regardless.

ive always used a tiny 3” piece of 2x4. they work perfectly because pinch weld bites into woodgrain a tad.

both on floor jack and on 2post

I use them on all my cars that "require" jacking at a specific point. Magnet does not always stick to pinch weld but no big deal to me.

Only horror I've heard from these is "I forgot to remove it, now it's on the side of the street somewhere".

Me ol' hockey puck is still doin' jus' fine after 11 years.
