C4 Z06!!!
This is wild! Anyone ever seen a Corvette aspiring to be of another generation? Wonder if mine would make a good '67 coupe? Hmmm...

That's just awful.....the C5's have come way down in price. He could have probably bought one for what he has in that thing. :rolleyes:

As much as I do NOT agree with that that rebody does for a vette, It is one of the VERY FEW nicely done rebodies. A+ on effort, but D- for the fact he chopped a C4 up to make look like a C5, which will get LAUGHS when it drives by any real corvette fanatic..

By the looks of those body kits, I really don't this it is possible to mess up the C5 styling unless you really rice it out. I don't think I've seen a bad body modification yet on them (with the exception of that one with a lot of chrome trim).

My honest opinion, that's the best-looking C4 to C5 conversion I've seen. Most of them just look... wrong, but this one's the closest I've seen. I don't much like it, but in terms of conversion quality it looks outstanding, for what it is.
Interesting side note, I watched a show on Discovery a couple nights ago and found out that the proper pronunciation for "Hyundai" isn't 'hun die' like you hear everyone say. The correct pronunciation is "Hyun day" kinda weird to pronounce the y after the h, it makes a he-un sound. Just thought I'd throw that out there. :cheers:

Holy crap Batman, 16K for an 86 vette? :eek: How much do these body kits cost.. he's doing pretty well with this auction.

I agree, in fact to me it doesn't even look like a C5 but a C4 with a nice aerodynamic body kit. I think that one looks way better than any of the other C4 body kits I've seen over the years. Just last night I was looking through them in Ecklers catalogue and IMO they all look like things that look like they are installed onto wrong car and don't fit nicely but this one is very smooth.
I would take the Z06 badge off though...that is ricey :rolleyes:
