Just a few pics of the new head unit and headlight mechanism repairs and upgrades. New android head unit that replaced the broken after-market CD player. LEDs installed and mechanism repaired.

I think you're going to find those LED headlights insufficient. I had a set that looked just like those, and they had terribly narrow spot beams. They were really really bad.
Nice Mark,
How is the head unit? mine is busted and I am considering options but want to know if the charging systems in these cars have any trouble powering the newer units with a screen?
I have an older Pioneer head unit with CD player but it doesn't transmit any sound to the speakers.

Hello
It all seems to be working fine. One of the previous owners had had a CD player installed so my install was just a simple swap; out with the old and in with the new.
That looks like a really nice head unit! What brand is did you get? I would think it would, but does it offer a Bluetooth connection for music and phone calls?
I have a similar android head.unit.in .in, an ATOTO A5L. I have a USB volume controller too since most of these Android units done come.with *****, and I hate pressing a volume button like a doofus or trying to swipe for volume.
They have more expensive versions than the A5L, but it worked for me. It has Bluetooth streaming for audio and phone calls, screen mirroring for your phone, pretty much anything you could want. The more expensive units let you have two phones connected at once (ie work and personal phones). This one has a reverse camera input and I think front as well? I dunno I didn't use it. You can also somehow use it to record as a dash cam, another feature I haven't really looked into.

I know what you mean about the volume control, but it seems to work for me even with my bear-like hands! I have put a 2.4GHz link for my reversing camera because I didn't want to drill a hole or run a cable. I've got two more RCA video feeds available; one of these I'll use for a front camera feed. I've routed a 3.5mm audio jack by the cup holders and put the RCA video out and twin USB ports inside the glove box. The GPS works well too. Currently I'm very happy with the unit.
