Proportioning valve
I have an 89 6 SPD. I am going to put new steel braided brake lines. My FSM is not with me. So, I apologize. I just thought of this. Does this car have a proportioning valve? Should I replace it. Does it require adjustment? Or are they preset from the factory?

Master Cylinder Spring
The brake master cylinder has a spring that regulates the front to rear hydraulic bias. That spring can be changed to modify the bias
