Ive starting using E6000 glue. Cheap, readily available, and seems very strong and durable

Contact cement. You put it on both and let dry for 15 minutes or so. When it sticks together it stays. This allows you to put a little stretch on it. Regular glues are too hard to clamp in this position. Dan
