Courtesy Light Staying On
My Door ajar module is apparently bad.. The courtesy lights stay on and drains the battery. I have replaced the switch in the doors, but still on. I pulled fuse 36 and that took care of the doors, however the back hatch lights (Behind the seats) remain on. Does anyone know what fuse # controls them?
I cannot find anything on the fuse panel diagram with some type of abbreviation for hatch lights, unless its on the circuit that opens the hatch and that's a 20amp.

Courtesy fuse kills every light but head and tail lights and Radio, if it stays on somethings touching somewhere
Afterthought the Courtesy lights have a control port inside the headlight switch, under normal circumstances the fuse would shut down the Courtesy lights, but if a path inside the headlight switch which has its own fuse

If you have a "Fuse #36" you have a 1993 or newer. 90-up do not have a "courtesy light module".
Do you remember that you started a thread for this same problem with the same thread title 3 weeks ago? I responded with explanations as to how the 93 systems works, and what some possible diagnostics might be. You said "I'll try those" but never came back. Go look at the linked thread.
