Try this again
The car is original (except the r134 conversion and new top). radio and antenna inop, factory shocks, and tires from 1993 !!
The carpet and plastic are good (except a floor mat dyed the pass side ? ?) Rest of carpet is great, might be a factory suitcase strap in the back.
Dash is very nice gauges work (oil pressure is blurry)
seats/leather/foam in great shape power driver, all works
wearing factory paint in vgc garage kept whole life 33 yrs original, 6 years second, in my garage now.
parts are arriving and stacking up. Changed oil and filter today, wow sewing machine smooth
x brace and transmission service tomorrow.
Have 2 questions , say i wanted to vacuum out 4 quarts every (how many miles?) to get all fluid changed out. Or just stick with filter and fluid every what 24k miles, ok three questions anyone have a factory service manual and electrical supplement for sale?
Tires are in may bring whole car may just bring wheels. Does it matter size and color of towel to roll up and place in rear window while topless? Much better example this time. Thank you

I had an 88 Convertible about 30 years ago. I replaced the top myself. Because the work I was preserving was mine, I was **** about not wanting to damage or scratch the new rear window when I put the top down. Which was almost every time I drove it locally.
I had a white fluffy bath towel from Target behind the seat. I'd place it across the window, it was wide enough to go up onto the horizontal surface so it would stay in place while I used both hands to hold the bow up and lift the deck lid. With the towel in the middle, the two surfaces of the folded window never contacted each other. Also be conscientious of what you use to wash the window with. Don't use a wash mitt that is contaminated with dirt and grit from washing the body.
IIRC there is a fabric 'panel' attached to the top that lays on the interior surface of the deck lid when the top is up. When the top is down, this 'panel' is on the bottom of the stack. It's purpose is to limit scuffing of the window when cargo is slid (stuffed?) into the bay below the folded window. Be sure this panel is still with the car after 40 years, and be cautious putting stuff into the cargo area with the top down.
Nice car. Enjoy.

Can anyone point me to direct fit speakers and radio either double din or single with the double kit. Not trying to break the bank or my eardrums.
Turns out the radio does work but the speakers are not all working. Is it metallic gold or metallic copper ? Thank you.
In 1986 i bought a new camaro, first and last new car, anyway from memory color code #51 yellow. Everyone at the dealership laughed at me when i picked that color. When it came in on the truck everyone at the dealerships jaw was on the floor.

I would not wait every 24k miles on trans fluid change. Id do it more often to get the most of it replaced.
Ive taken wheels only many times for tires. More work but safer for the car and gives me a good look at brakes, suspension, etc.
