I wave when I drive a Vette...
I wave when I drive my daily driver (WRX)...
I wave when one passes me as I walk thru the parking lot...
Hell, I wave when I see one in a magazine!
Somebody help me!
Guilty, even when I drive another car, without even thinking my hand goes up to wave at a vette. They must look at me like something is wrong with me.
I used to wave everyday on my way to work, but now I only get to wave about once a month since I got a new job. Of course, my old job I had to drive 180 miles total in one day, so I saw about 10 vettes everyday usually the same ones, I always got a wave back from them, even the C5ers. Now I only drive a total of 30 miles a day to and from work, and I work somewhere very few people would drive a vette in the winter, on top of a mountain, even in the snow. So needless to say I don't get to see any vettes anymore, except for mine. But that is enough for me
I will have to take a count next weekend, but usually here in South Florida, I get very few returns. I am sure members of CF and clubs wave back, but given the total number of vettes down here it is still a low percentage of returned waves.
How about GM putting a note on the back of the sun visors.
I keep hereing people talk about driveing their vettes every weekend. I had a dream Sat. night that we still had so much snow I couldn't make it to Eureka Springs, and thats in Oct. Got another 8 inches last light. I'm sick of it. :cry :mad :nopity
In defense of the C5s, I saw 5 Vettes this weekend at Myrtle Beach. 2 C4s and 3 C5s. Waved at all and got 3 waves in return.....you guessed it..all the C5s waved back (one even waved first). The C4s did not! Go figure.
