Default Lowering

Any body lower there C4? Any good suggestions on how to? Any ride difference or any pros and cons would be great...thanks

:seeya Longer bolts are needed to lower rear at the transverse leaf spring. (that's the easy part) :yesnod: To lower the front you have to drop the lower A frame on both sides. Pull the transverse leaf spring completely out to be able to cut the 2 pads down that hold the leaf spring in place. I left about 1" on the spring. Vette handles fine and looks better also (doesn't look like a 4x4) even corners better. Don't forget 4 wheel alignment after springs settle back in your car! It took me about 4 hours to do my vette but, I have already done 4 C4's. :D

go to tech tips for some pretty good instructions. Also use the SEARCH feature to find lots of posts. Be sure to check "post bodies", and "archives"

Ride quality will only go down if you lower too far. My rear occasionally hits the bump stops and should be raised about 1/2"from where it is now.
