Will be getting tinted windows tomorrow
There is a place here appropriately called "The Tint Shop" that will be doing the work. I liked the work they did on my friend's pickup truck and the man I talked with on the phone seemed to know what he was talking about. He was aware of the problems with the struts ripping the tint off and such.
He's got 18 years experience and claims to have done many vettes. I hope I'll be very pleased with the results. I should have some new pics tomorrow :)
They've really been cracking down on window tint here lately though so I'm gonna have to keep it legal.

Pics once it's done would be nice. Heck, do before for comparison.
I have LIMO all around on mine. I had to take it of due to MANY tickets on my previous car :D (They always knew me at DMV hehe) That hasn't been the case on the vette yet. I can e mail you a pic if you hadn't seen it yet.

I would do that but the last thing I want to do is end up taking it right back off. They've been very serioius about illegal tint here lately and my car is a daily driver so it gets a lot of exposure. If I drove it less frequently I'd go darker.

My SO CAL car came with dark tint on the hatch, lighter on the sides and lighter yet on the windshield; I love it.
After the tint goes on, should you get pulled over, roll down the window and have both hands on the wheel to put the officer at ease as he walks up to you. If he feels a potential threat he could react agressively and cut a ticket.
