Default Need some help

Hey guys and gals,
I got a quick question. My windshield wipers have some play causing them to get off beat and hit each other. I tried to adjust them but it appears that maybe there is a bushing worn where the shaft connects to the wiper motor. 1st question there is a bushing there isn't there and 2nd do i have to buy a new motor to get the bushing?
Thanks in advance....

I would check to see if your threads are worn or stripped on the mounts first. If the entire blade assembly was removed, check to see if it can be removed again, turned slightly and remounted. Good Luck!

If you have replaced the blades with after market types that may be the problem. If so, use OME's.

yes the blades were replaced by auto zone however they put the wrong blades on causing them to get caught on the hood when went to hide a way now i have a tremendous amount of play in the passenger side arm. There is only one way to put the arm on so there is not an adjustment there the only adjustment i can find is by the wiper motor itself that allows the control shaft to slide about an inch or so. (I would have put the wipers on myself but it was a bad down poor and AZ volunteered)
