I'm looking to replace the factory mufflers on my 91 L-98. I really don't want to go further than that. The little woman might get suspicious if she sees the car on jacks a long time! Trying to get a little throaty sound without the resonance inside and some decent chrome out the end. Unfortunately I see listings for some that I like but they go from 84-90 and 92-96. What happend to 91? I Like the Pacesetters with the ZR-1 tips. Any suggestions and/or photos would be helpful. Thanks again.

Corvettecentral has the 50 series flowmasters (3 chamber) - specific for the '91. - I did these on my '91 L98. I installed them - was easy/quick. Dual Steel tips. $299 + $21 shipping.
Great sound, zero/no annoying interior drone.
If you get them, just be sure to paint them with a good quality engine paint before installing them (the original grey flowmaster paint is crap).
have fun....it's the most sound for the least buck/least problem.

I'm kinda partial to my Magnaflows :D They look real good on a C4 and they sound excellent with very little resonance. Pretty reasonably priced compared to comparable systems. I saw a listing on Ebay for $495 "Buy It Now" for the whole shootin match
