Flowmaster
I have 84 coupe and I can get any system flowmaster makes on a donation that I made question is should I go with the cat back for 84 or try to put a later year system on the car? Any Ideas? :confused:

i had a 84 with flowmaster cat back 86-90 style.............i had to weld instead of bolt to cat.........84-85 have a 4 bolt cat and 86-90 have a 2 bolt as i recall...i have a flowmaster force2 in the box in the garage for my 85 when its done with the richmond 6 speed conversion...............you will love the sound..........with a small cam it sounds very mean and nasty :yesnod: :yesnod:

I have an '84 vette.....installed the flowmaster's.....with a Random Tech Cat....
Sounds great....works great.....

Thanks for all your input think I will stick with the cat back setup. I did have a pair of Mid America pipes but at 1400-1600 rpm couldn't hear yourself. Lookin to get some noise but not crazy.
