Touch-up paint in a bottle is OK for your wife's daily driver (please, no flames from lady Corvette drivers of the female persuation), but not for your Corvette. Look in your local Yellow Pages for "automotive refinishing parts" -- auto paint store. They will generally mix up a touch-up size bottle of the factory paint. Getting the right color is tough on a red car, so this will give you the best chance of a good match. The the secret: once the color is dry, touch on a drop of clear nail polish (it's urethane, same as your paint).
Expect to pay about $10 - $15, but it's better than getting the "wrong" color.
If you have friends a bodyshop, that's a good source too.
