Air Cleaner Mod
I am considering modifying my Air Cleaner Cover, and have a few questions about it.
1. How big of a hole do I need to cut?
2. Does it need to be a round hole, or a rectanular hole to match the shape of the cover?
3. What is the benifit of doing this, and will there be a noticeable perfomance increase, or am I just going to be ruining a perfectly good Air Cleaner?
NOTE: I do have the K&N filter element.

Do it only if you have time to kill. No performance gain whatsoever, I've track tested it(the only way to test).
I saw more of a gain when I changed the airfilter(replaced the A/C Delco filter with guess what? another A/C Delco filter).
