Jackaroofer I need information on modifying lift to Air/hyd . I'm ready to break concrete.
I'll try to take some pics and I'll write up some details this weekend and send them to you.
While you are waiting, go to http://www.northernequipment.com and look up the air jack you will need
It Is an 8 ton, air/hydraulic jack, the lift is 19 1/2 ". It is and looks like the hydraulic jacks used on engine hoists.
Should cost around $ 189

I decided to check out Northern myself, I may want to buy a spare jack just to have it around, though I have been using present on for almost two years and haven't had a problem

Did you already have a lift in the ground? If not, look at the Kwiklift. It's in all the Vette mags and I bought one and I love it. It's only $1200. with all the bells and whistles. Just a thought for you.
