Black Sheep Squadron?

I've seen allot of guys that claim to be members of the Black Sheep Squadron. Do these guys fly the "bent wing" F4Us? Aren't they getting a little old now? Is Pappy Boyington the club president? What gives?

The BSS is the pursuit and interceptor wing of the USS Zora Arkus-Duntov, CVN-53.

We fly black ground-to-ground cruise missiles.

That's :cool: Must be a Navy thing. What's a CVN-53? They named a ship after Zora, our hero/father of the Vette world? That would really be :cool:

Still how does Pappy feel about a squadron he commanded being a missile outfit? :lol:

Yep, a few of us are getting a little older, now that you mention it. Some of us were even around during WWII ;)

And as someone mentioned we fly ground to ground cruise missiles ... and some of those missiles are plenty quick :D

I am probably one of the newest to join. Really like the T-shirt. I am an old Air Force guy and couldn't be more pleased than to be a part of this exclusive group. Jim Willis (who seems to keep it all going) is a great guy who obviously spends a lot of his time on this effort. Check the site out!
