Default CE production numbers question

I remember something about there were more CE LT4 cars made and black LT4 cars, or was it there were more total CE cars made than black LT4s.

I can't remember which it was and I am waiting on a call back about a CE LT4 that is very clean but the guy is asking a little much just because it is a CE. I would like to throw some production numbers out at him if they are favorable.

Thanks

Ok here goes nothing......

Just a little insite on the prod. #'s to put into perspective:
Total prod. in 96=21536
Total LT4 prod. in 96=6359
Total black(coupe+conv.)=3917
Total black w/ LT4=1068
Total CE(coupe+conv)=5412
Total CE w/ LT4=2082

But the CE is the "collector" so it may fetch more money just because. What is it exactly your buying, give me int color and suspension options, coupe or conv., and I can get you exact production numbers!

I am really thinking the guy isn't going to come down enough on the price but it is worth checking cause he is considering letting me trade my 200K+ mile 86 w/ rebuilt title in on it.

It is a 96 CE LT4 with 50K miles with gray int. It is pretty well optioned but does not have the F45(?) suspension, which I think is good cause I've heard it is expensive to fix/maintain.

He has already come down to $19.5 on the phone. I still personally think that is a little high but what the hey, I need another car as mine is becoming unreliable. Would like an LT4 just for value resale reasons later but not wanting to go much more than $16K and no more than +/- 60K miles.

I actually think 19,500 is a bit low for a mint condition LT4CE...IMHO :p: :yesnod:

There were 625 coupes w/ grey int. and 6 speed, 137 of those were F45 suspension. Hope this helps your search...later.
