Check out the pic on my forum "1985 Split Window..." in this section. It's a C5 with all the years figured in. If you can get this, somewhere, someone will do what you ask. For the right price!!
What about a C4 to AMC Pacer kit? With so many C4 to *whatever* kits, there must be a market for a Pacer kit. Think about it... C4 power, luxury and handling, with the Pacer's good looks! :jester
I spent a long time trying to decide between a C3 and C4 for a daily driver - in the end I decided the C4 is just too good not to have - but to have a C4 with a C3 body would be fantastic.

I'd like to see that :yesnod:

I think you are better starting with a C3, and updating the drive-train and suspension components to C4 flavor.

you can get a C-4 converted to a 53- 82, and Im sure if you have enough mony they will do a C-3 for you with a ZR-1 undercarraige
I have seen a 57 with a C-4 undercarraige, and a 62 (?) with a ZR-1 undercarraige, and several C 2s........
Too late, Phil tha rush, I bought a 1988 a few weeks ago.
I did consider sticking a C3 body on a C4 chassis but it would have been too big a project for me, I have fibreglass skills but not welding.
Also I think the project would have been more possible and less expensive if I lived in the US and could pick up cheaper cars.
I love that C3 shape - there's nothing like it - but I decided on the C4 because I also appreciate the amazing handling and performance progress difference between the C3 and C4.
I began drooling over Corvettes in 1996, my dream was held up for a few reasons but also because I just could not decide whether I wanted a C3 or C4.
I eventually realised that C3's are, or soon will be, just Garage Queens, driven on fine Sundays. They should be honoured and pampered. I know some people who are driving them more often but I want a car to drive every day, to enjoy and be proud of - so ultimately I went for the C4.
I've joined our local 'American Car Club' just so's I can look at the C3's there !!!!
Hey, I've got the best of both worlds - drive a C4 and look at C3's...heheheheh
