Is not terribly difficult once you have the correct parts. It is fairly easy to damage the thin edge of your door trying to drive in the upper pin.
You can try to adjust the hang of the door by loosening up the hinge bolts, supporting the door with a jack, and re-tightening the bolts. If the door sags too much, the upper corner of the window glass starts whacking the halo panel and chipping the paint!
You have to unbolt the gill panel and pop the hood for best access to the hinge bolts.
The eventual best fix is to get a new pair of door hinges. Once they star to sag, they've twisted a bit and fatiqued.
Ahhhhh.....another thing on my to-do list. Thanks Matt ----first you got me down about my steering column, now this - you are on top of all the things I need to do.
How about replace the left-hand stalk (brights/cruise/etc). Is that something that would be easy to replace when doing the steering column? (my brights dont work)
If you're already disassembling and dropping the steering column to the mid-core, replacing the switch won't make it any harder. You'll have to snake the new switch harness down through the column.
