The camber brace would improve the handling but wont do anything for the body-flex. I have seen the "targa truss" but am not familiar with the product, concept is good. A C4 is somewhat more rigid with the top on. I would say your best bet is to get the cross brace that bolts under the car like on the convertibles. My car is more stiff than most coupes i think and with the hardtop it isnt even like a vette anymore, real stiff.

The Targa Truss will eliminate the flex with the top off, but if you don't want the hastle of having to put it on/off, R-D Racing has the Cross-Frame. It goes under the car like the convertables have. Gets rid of the flex and you can just leave it on. http://r-dracing.com/CROSS-FRAME.htm

The cross frame looks great, but I don't have that kind of money for it. I can say that the camber brace is one of the best mods you can do to your 'vette. It feels totally different! If you make any more mods on your 'vette, this should be on that list, at the top! :steering:

I agree, the Camber Brace is an great improvemtn to the handeling, but it does not cure the body flex with the top off.

:yesnod: I've never felt like my 'vert flexed that much. Granted this is my 1st Vette 1st C4, but over RR crossings etc my car feels pretty rigid. And since I did the brake job last fall, no more rattle from the left front area-- must have been a brake part.

For the first few times I drove the car with the top off I could feel the flex, didn't take long and I didn't notice it anymore.
