Where is the fuel filter on a C4?
I've had my '90 C4 w/106K miles on the clock for four weeks now and I am slowly changing fluids and developing a service history of my own. Just had the oil changed for the first time today, and EZ Lube told me the fuel filter was inside the gas tank? Is that true, and what about changing it?

There is a sock which fits over the fuel pump which acts as a filter, but the one you are looking for is on the passenger side frame rail just opposite the catalytic converter(or a little higher up on the frame)

Yea good luck changing that, I just did mine but I had the cat out, don't know how I could have ever got that out with the cat still in.. :smash:
