Default C4 Speedometer

The graphic digital display in my 84 C4 goes to 85 MPH. If I go faster than that, will the number display go higher, or does it also cap at 85? Also, did the speedometer display go higher on Corvettes after 1984, i.e. do later models have speedometers that go to 100+?

I'm not that familiar with the cluster for the 84, but I'm sure it has a button to go from MPH to KMH. I don't know the exact conversion, but if you're running around 65-70mph, hit the button and it should register around 115-120kph.

:withstupid: the 84' has the slide button to switch between english and metric readings. When you go over 85 the bars are all the way up, and the digital numbers keep climbing, even over 100 :D Give it a try sometime. And when you get to 140 mph switch it over to kph to see BIG numbers :jester

:iagree: Since it's digital, the numbers up to 85 on the side can change also (not like a analog guage with a needle pointed at fixed numbers). I also think you should give it a try sometime. I mean the only way to know for sure is to go and do it yourself
