Chime module
How important is this module. Is it related to anything else in the car that I need to be worried about. I recently changed my battery & actually had a mechanic under the knee bolster. So I need to pull the panel & see if something got loose. Is the module important other than making a sound?

Mine has been out since I bought my car 6 months ago. I had the chance to ask Gordon Killebrew about it back in March. He even tested mine using his ALDL plugs that he sells to make sure it was the module - Its bad.
As far as performance, it has no affect on that. You can get a new module thru G.M. Parts Direct for $90.00 it you want to replace yours. I'm going to replace mine in the near future because I'm getting tired of having to walk back to my car and turn my park lights off.!! :banghead: Later Zane
