Hey everyone,
My dad and I are very excited about our new vette (1990 L98). I was wondering if any of you guys knew where I can find a good car cover made for that model vette.
Thanks

Lots of places sell them. Eklers, MidAmerica, Zip....
What type you get depends a lot on where the car will be when you cover it.
If it's in a garage, any of the soft cheap ones will do. If you plan to store the car outdoors, you'll need an entirely different cover. $$$
I totally agree. Before I got my vette painted, I was looking thru the catalogs, lookign for a good cover. I keep my baby outside (garage is taken up by a pool table, fooseball table, leather sofa, bar, etc...). I saw some really nice covers going for around $200.00. But I found one on EBay. straight out of the MidAmerica catalog. slightly used, but excelelnt condition.
Got a $200.00 cover for $50.00. I was big time stoked about that.
Anyways, all the catalogs have them (MidAmerica, Ecklers), but, look around on EBay. Just do a search for "corvette cover". You just might find an awesome deal.
I bought one from Mid America......but am to lazy to install it.....
I put this in the perf. forum for you also......any cover will really do.....if it is garaged....

If you're keeping your Vette outside, I highly recommend the WeatherShield cover made by Covercraft. I have one on my '90 coupe and it is the best I've ever had.
I recently took it off after it was put on before Christmas and the black paint was perfectly clean and scratch free. All of the other covers (including the Noah) that I've used over the years allow a lot of dust and moisture through and leave a real mess when you take the cover off. It gets real tiresome washing the car before you install the cover and then having to wash it again after you remove the cover.
I got my cover from Ecklers for about $230. It's certainly more expensive than most but it does the job you buy a cover for and because it is only one layer thick, it's a lot easier to handle and store. The WeatherShield fabric "breathes" but still repels water (and ice and snow) and dust.

:iagree: :iagree: :iagree: I have a $40 car cover that I'll only use when during winter on days when it's going to snow. Other than that, my baby toughs it out! :D
