Yup - Second time a lady in a big unit could not see well enough and backed into my car while it was parked. The funny thing was that I parked way out in the last place no other cars around. You know the paint will not match. :mad
Damn, that sucks. I feel your pain for sure. I got backed into a few weeks ago. Surprisingly, the paint matches perfectly. That still sucks though. Lots of 'vettes in accidents lately. Check out the C5 forum.
Try to find a body shop that specializes in Vetts. There are some out there that can make a car look better than new. Take your time to find a shop and call the references. Good Luck.
Man, that sucks... I just got backed into about 2 weeks ago. Luckily it was in my Pathfinder and not the vette, otherwise someone might have gotten shot!!!
Actually, the sad thing was I was pumping gas and the lady backed into me. Don't know how she didn't see a green SUV right next to a GAS PUMP, but she got me pretty good! Best part is, she tried to tell me it was MY fault when I wasn't even inside the truck when it happened!
Sorry to hear about that :banghead:
Did she have insurance?
Though I have never had to use them (knock wood), I have read many good things about Richey Collision on this Forum. You might want to check them out.
This summer someone hit the front of my car on a monday, and on thursday someone else had run into the rear of my car. Both were hit and runs. Wanna hear the wierd part ? It was in the church parking lot on weekdays. Who the crap drives through my church parking lot during the week, hits my car, and runs off? Only thing we can figure is those darn Catholics :jester j/k

I got backed into by a Pathfinder two weeks ago, it will be fixed the 26th, hopefully.
Thanks for all of the reply's and sympathy. It is not bad however it is enough to require some good reallignment as the bumper shifted into the rear quarter panel just a bit. My biggest concern is the matching of the paint. I had the same thing happen last year it was worse. The paint matches in the sun light but in certain lights it is off. I know we are fussy but that is why we own these cars in the first place. I have seen the good posts on Richey Collision in Houston. That is where I will take her.
Thanks again.. :seeya
