Default c4 engine change

i originally posted this question in the wrong group (c3) not a big response my bust. anyway i need to talk to someone about the computers in c4's ex. if i put a 95/96 engine in a 93/94 car how much electrically has to be changed. those type questionsi'd really like to talk to someone locally or over the phone about it or if anyone knows a shop that can handle that type stuff in the dfw area. my idea 96 lt4 stroker auto in an older higher milage car. figure i can do that for the price of a real nice low milage car and have the hp too. thanks for you support.

If I remember rightly, the biggest difference between engines would be the 2nd O2 sensor... so if you don't have that, everything else should pretty much bolt right up.

The '96 was full OBDII where the 94-95 was the transition period, OBDI but with the different connector.

Between 94 and 95 I can't see any reason why you couldn't interchange. The intake on the '93 is a little different than the later ones.
