infinity g35 (thinks he cool)
as i was coming back from lunch today, in the 94. i passed a new infinity g35 and the driver gave me the pipe. so thinking that this thing was fast i turned around and cought up to him. he sees me in his rear view and pulls over. i then pull up next too him. i said "what do you got". he replies " a 6cyl......the same one in that comes in the 350z". i responded by saying " ohh... sorry to hear that". he then says "i saw that your car looked pretty nice so i gave you the pipes(or in his case the pipe)". "do you wanna bring it too that high way and race" he said. after thinking about how the 350z is like a low 14 sec car stock and is smaller and lighter that the g35 i knew i could walk this guy so i said "man.....this car eats those thing alive!" buy this point i knew the guy was a bone head by the way he was talking and there is no way that im racing a bone head in accout of you never know what stupid thing they are gonna do next. so i refused him a couple more times and just took off.

In thoses cases, I like to tell 'em: "I won't race on the freeway, but I'll take ya on the track on saturday". At that point they usually make up some excuse not to go and slink away :lol:

I do a ton of work at Infiniti, and have had the chance to drive one.
I was far from impressed. These are the regular chick car all sow no go.
If they put a big azz turbo in one it'll be a different story though.

I also have a 1994 ,a g35 got next to me at a light and floored it when the light turned green.I gave it enough throttel to stay next to him,and then backed off,a couple of blocks down the police were in the street flaging him down. :steering:

they always neglect to say "I got my butt handed to me by a vette today"
I used to try to start stuff with vette's and porches in my bird... i can hang with the boxters in that thing :auto: :cool:

Usually you will hear remarks such as... "I hung with the Vette".... Its like no... I got your butt handed to you and u didnt realize I was only half throttle

Just the other day me and another guy were competing for spaces in the parking structure, both cussing and flipping the bird at each other as we made laps and cut each other off. It could have been nasty, but in the end we were both just had to let down our guard and have a common laugh, cause it was fun. BTW, I got the spot first :D

Why bother with racing the G35,they are slower than the 350z which
is a mid 14 second car.A G35 would be no match for a LT1.
