I don't know if it's the same but on my 87 it's on the pass side behind the bottom panel below the hood in front of the door with the vents in it remove the panel like you would for the battery side and it's right there. Good luck I hope this helps.

Mine is on the bottom of the washer tank, which is behind the front pass side tire. If you remove the back piece of the wheel well you can get to it. If I remember right it is attached to the washer tank with a plastic nut that you can get to through the filler neck of the tank with a long extension and socket.

My 88, it's part of the fill tank. If you don't use it often, it does get mucked up If you can hear the pump running. in inlet may be clogged. I put a garden hose, without the nozzle down in the tank and turned on the water. I let it flush out, and this cleaned out all of the old cleaner. Syphon out the water and use fresh cleaner. Just a thought.
