Does this C4 need a new front spring?
Seems to be sitting a little low in the front, doesn't it? Appears to be in pretty good condition otherwise.

That thing is slammed to the ground. Must be a custom spring. The lowering kits don't even go that low.
I'd think if it was a bad spring, it wouldn't look so even on both sides.
Overall, the car looks to be in good shape for its age.

That car definitely needs a front spring. It's sitting lower than mine is in the front end, and my front spring has started to delaminate. I've finally resigned myself to the fact that I'm going to have to get ripped off by Ecklers, or somebody for a new spring, because good used ones are impossible to find.

The rear just needs to be lowered to match the front.
On a C4 it's the front that is hard to lower. It'll take about 10 minutes to lower the rear so it doesn't look so "out of balance".

:cheers: Tell us a little about the ride quality and the handling, if the spring is shot there ought to be some ride and handling problems
