BIGWHEELS
Have any of you guys considered 19" or 20" wheels on you C4? I know that usually conjures up thoughts of "G-Fab" SUV's but with the shorter sidewall=better response woud it be a good idea to go with a strong 5-spoke or other simple design in these sizes? :jester

I think that 18's are about as big as you can get but I may be wrong

I wouldn't want the extra weight of that metal.
I haven't heard about Corvette yet, but Mercedes owners were having problems with suspension not being able to handle such a large tire/wheel combo.
Lots of bent rims also.

Re: BIGWHEELS (IGOFASTERINMYVETTE)
I was thinking of 19's and even 20's. The problem is that they don't make any tires that would keep the tire height close to the stock height which would eventually effect how accurate your speedometer and odometer are. I know some people don't care if they're off, but I personally do.
I went with the 18's all around for that reason. :yesnod:
Now, on the Navigator that's a different issue.

:iagree: The extra weight and the huge diameter would kill your acceleration. Of course you could always add more power  :smash:

I have 18" s and in my opinion they look awesome, but I dont think I would go any larger, otherwise you would be rolling on rubberbands!
