It's been storming for a week straight and my car is FILTHY. All the ZR-1's are in town too. I just can't take it anymore, I've got to wash my car. I woke up early, it's warm outside, I've got an hour and a half before I need to be at work.
I keep mine pretty clean but when there's a lot of pollen in the air I'll rinse it off every morning begore I take it to work.
Don't want folks to think my Vette's not something special by letting them see it dirty.
i wash mine before i drive it every time i drive it. i like a clean car. if it rains for a few days as soon as it stops i wash my daily driver the morning before i take it out. every time.
When I first bought mine, I did that. I washed it if it was dirty enough that other people would notice, but inevitably it would rain the next day, and I'd have to repeat the whole process. Also, not having a garage to keep it in at night really makes it an excercise in futility. So now, I try to keep it covered and only drive it on nice days, and just give it a decent detailing every other weekend.

I generally don't wash my corvette. Mine came with a little button on the console that turns on the "air and ground pollutant forcefield". It wasn't cheap but it sure saves lots of time........ :leaving:
