Has anyone seen a C4 converted to a C5? I mean actually seen the car, not just a picture. I think the picture looks pretty good in Corvette America, but would like to know what one really looks like before I make a decision to purchase the conversion kit. Appreciate any feedback.
I've seen a couple of them. If they are done right, they look really good, if not, :nonod: , you get the idea. Also, be prepared for all the crap your going to catch for even suggesting a C5 conversion, lmao. :yesnod:
Or buy a conversion and have a total of about $10,000 in a 50K mile car that runs perfect and doesn't have all the problems the 97 and early 98's have (bad transmission, abs that doesn't work on most 97's due to static electricity generated by the rear axle, etc.).

Yet still has all of the problems of the C4.
Optispark, rattles, weatherstripping, lack of stiffness with the top out, removing top is a PITA, etc.

I don't know about you guys but I would NOT want a transexual vette! It may look like something else on the outside but you'll get a big suprise when you feel for the inside.
