I have ordered 17"x9.5" chrome ZO6 wheels for my 93 Coupe which came k with 17"x8.5" fronts and 17"x9.5"s rear stock and I was wondering how many other forum members have put 17"x9.5"s all the way round. if so are there any issues with body contact of the tires rubbing
Your only issues should you have them wont be with your wheels.. It will be with what tires you decide to use... Width of the tire will be the cause of rubbing if there is any.. you can fit up to 10.5 width wheels.. but your tire selection is key here.. also you can use up to at least an 18 inch wheel all the way around again tire size is key.. also Height of the tire can be an issue if you go to a larger wheel like an 18.. Just figure out the tire dimensions and try to stick close to stock..Example.. tire size works like this if you have a 285/45/17 for example the total measurment of the tire from bead to bead or top of the rim on outside to top of the rim on the inside is the 285.. now the 45 is the height of the sidwall which works like so it means 45% of the total 285 is sidewall the rest is width.. the 17 is self explanatory.. :jester
I dont think it will be a problem at all. The 92's had 9.5" rims on all 4 corners, and it uses the same wheel wells as the rest of them. Also, 9.5" rims came on the upgraded suspension cars '93-'96, and there was no change done to the wheel wells..

more clearification, 285 is width of the tread in millimeter, 45 is call the Aspect Ratio, or like Eric said heigh to the side wall==45%x285, 17 is the rim diameter in inches--go figure
I just got off the phone with my wheel supplier, we decided to go with the stock size wheels to be sure it wouldnt cause any problems. Thanks everyone :)
