Default Body Work?

Anyone get any minor body work done?

I need the driver side of my bumper to be re-aligned with the hood. It was pushed down from the accident I was in. I ran outta time to go take it back and get it fixed up completely.

The driver side- side bumper support bracket will need either rebent or replaced.

I think im taking it to the body shop this week. How much do ya think im looking at here?
It's hard planning on spending the mod money, when you still have some essentials to do.

Noone ever notices it, its just driving me nuts. :bb

If its just a warped bumper, its not too bad. Definitely under $500, at least around here.

My bumper is slightly warped, that is, it doesnt line up PERFECTLY with the hood because of the accident i had a year ago.

No one notices mine either, but its not major enough to drive me crazy. I think my mod list is more important now. :D

There is a couple different metal pieces that could be causing this problem. There's a channel that bolts up to the flange that runs from one side to the other, it mounts the top of the bumper to the front fiberglass structural piece that in turn mounts to the frame plate.

The other is a very odd shaped piece that helps control the corner of the bumper.

Check these out before dropping the $$ on a new bumper, that will, of course, have to be painted..

Good luck.
