I have Falkens - new on the front and old on the back. Not really happy with them, thery're noisy, the tread pattern is average and they broke away in the wet while leaving a roundabout, going the same speed as the ute beside me.............not impressed, but hey - they were cheap!
I'm planning to look for a better brand but it seems that the vette size is not very common here in Aus. I was quoted Aus$750 for one tyre locally !!!!!! Found cheaper ones in Brisbane, just under Aus$400 each.
I've tried many of the popular ones over the years--Gatorbacks, GSCs, SZ50s. Recently, I put on a set of Kumho MXs. For the money, they're fantastic. They grip tight, don't make a lot of noise, and look great.
My only concern is that they come with very shallow tread . . . I feel like I might be getting shortchanged on tread wear. But if they last as long as the non-EP SZ50s that I just replaced, I'll be happy.
