Black Box?
I was reading an article about "black boxes" being used in the event of car crashes, similar to black boxes used in the aviation industry. The link is here:

Of particular interest to me was this:
"One of the earliest courtroom appearances of a car's black box came after the high-profile crash that killed pro football player Jerome Brown in 1992. Brown's survivors filed a$30 million civil suit that claimed that the air bag on Brown's high-performance Corvette went off after he hit a pothole and caused him to hit a tree. Data from the black box showed the air bag deployed on impact as designed, and the survivors lost the case."
Does anyone know anything about a black box on a Corvette? I've never heard of it, but then again mine is an older C4.

Sorry, I just realized they're probably talking about ODB. From their wording in the article you would think there's a little camera somewhere. :boxing

Yes the box records the last (minimum) 5 sec.of every drive. Speed,tps,rpm,air bag deployment (that trigers more sensors) when the brakes wer applied etc: A friend of my ex. just had charges of vec. homicide up graded to murder from the black box this will be the first case in Mass. that this has been used in. B/B showed 57mph in a 30mph she killed the pass. trial starts in June. She was charged with V/H then they got a warrant to get the box then the charges went up. Myself it feel's like big brother. but I don't know there are two sides to everything! I just saw your statement about little cameras that's what I ment about BB and that's what it is like!
