Car Show Question?
I'm entering a "Corvette Only" show this Sunday and I need your opinions on which class I should enter. The two I qualify for is "stock" or "wash and shine". I have a stock base '86 coupe with 110,000 miles on it. The car is in perfect condition inside and out. I cleaned the front and rear suspension and installed brand new OEM wheels and tires. The engine bay is very clean but not spotless. Would a trophy in "wash and shine" be as meaningful as one in "stock"? Thanks for your opinions.

Is one more meaningful than the other? No....
I've spent the last three and a half years of my life building a "show stopper" .
Was it worth it?
Time will tell I guess.......

I do lots of car shows, but I don't fully understand what a show and shine is. Is that a hood down show?
If that's the case, then bigtime :nono:. Nothing's cooler about the C4s than the clamshell hood!

If anyone is interested in attending, the show is being held on Sunday May 18, 2003 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at Great American Chevrolet in Hackensack, NJ sponsored by the All American Corvette Club. Hope to see some of you there.
