Says the rear O2 sensor on the passenger side is bad. I have replaced it already. This only happens when I run Exon gas. After about 5 trips the light goes out. I am pretty sure it is the gas.
It is assumed that a trouble code 13 was displayed to alert you to the O2 sensor problem, and replacement. To remove that code, disconnect your battery for a few seconds. That will clear all codes that have been repaired. If the "svc eng light" appears again, it means the problems weren't corrected, or new problems exist. You will have to down load the codes again and correct the problem(s). The battery must always be disconnected to clear the codes.
Your engine doesn't know what fuel is being pumped into the tank. It is only concerned with the octane, and it can make adjustments for a lower rated octane than recommended.
I'm sure certain blends are superior to others. Refiners supply many stations with the same fuel, and yet consumers believe there is a difference.
It is a code P430. Ihave an Auto Xray so I can reset the codes that way. It is telling me that the rear O2 sensor on the passenger side is defective. But is is only when I purchase fule from this gas station. I do not experience it when purchased from any other stations. Tha light resets itself automatically. No need to dicaonnect the battery. No trouble code 13
