Default It's fixed!

Took the 85 to the shop today, to find out why it was making that disturbing clunking sound after I lowered it. 4 halfshaft U Joints, and 4 new shocks later, this thing drives like a new car! The U Joints basicly disintegrated when they pulled the half shafts off. They were the original ones, so after 90, 000 miles, and 18 years, I got my money's worth. Shocks were the originals too, so I'm definitely not complaining. I would like to thank everybody for the feedback. I really appreciate it!

I have the bolts to lower my car but was waiting on your fix before I did it. So I guess it's out to the garage.

I'm afraid to even see what my U-joints look like. I keep meaning to replace them, but other things (alternator, headlight motors, catalytic converter, etc.) keep coming up.

Ditto, I just had my drive shaft u-joints replaced and my drive shaft precision balanced, cost me $100 an I took the drive shaft out and out it back in.

I wondered about the 1/2 shafts.

Total cost on everything was $340.66 for Spicer U Joints, KYB Shocks, Re-lowering, Allignment, and labor. Not too bad at all.
