Waving Again......good job forum members, he edited his site!
I went for a ride yesterday and passed 5 other vettes. Two C3'S, Two C4s, and a C5. All returned my wave except for.... guess....you got it, the C5er. I am happy to see the wave is alive, and I will continue to try to get the C5 people involved. Found this website the other day also.....I was a little upset about it

What a jerk that guy is....here is a quote from that website:

I will bet you anything this is his first Vette...he is not a "Vette Person" he is just some tool that doesn't appreciate what he owns (or more likely leases :lol: )

I was going to mail him a link to this thread, but with his attitude I don't think it would have any effect. I kinda feel sorry for those idiots since they don't know all the corvette comraderie they're missing out on. Why would you want to make enemies of your fellow Corvetters instead of immediate friends? All I know is if I saw a Vette give me the finger when I was waving, I'd whoop my Vette around and hunt his azz down :smash: :mad

I doubt that he has the guts to flip anyone off. People like this are usually all talk.
But it'd be funny if we ALL emailed him what we think of his attitude, and his website. He's obviously looking for attention, maybe we should give him some.

Hey, does the C5 section know about this? A lot of them try and dissuade the myth that C5s don't wave, so they might be interested.

I couldn't help myself. I sent him the following email.
"Hey, absolutely great website! Especially the Corvette page! I'm extremely impressed with your car! Wow, you got a yellow one!!!
I'll be sure to stare at it if I see it, I'm one of those morons you can't escape. I'll be the one yelling out the window, "Hey, nice car! Wanna race?"
Please be sure to flip me off when you see me, I'll have the camera ready. Then, I'll email you the pic so that you'll have proof for your website, that you really do flip off other Corvette owners that wave to you. You see, some of my friends seem to have trouble believing that part, so I think a pic on your website would help.

Oh, almost forgot, I looked at that mpeg you have posted, I was hoping to see the license plate flip down, but it didn't. Was it supposed to? I just saw some flashing lights, kinda like the ones my neighbor's kid has installed in his Integra.
