Van Steel,

I received the shocks today. The rears are ok, but the fronts are for 89-94 and will not fit my 88 with Z51. I checked with Bilstein and they say not to use them on my car. The 88 front shocks are longer and valved differently than the 89-94 shocks according to Bilstein.

I'm guessing that someone else may have ended up with my front units so if all of the guys with 89-94 vettes who ordered will double check their part numbers on the box we might be able to swap and straighten this out without someone putting the wrong shocks on their car.

Bilstein #s
88 Z51 Front = B46-1113 --------- What I should have received.
89-94 Z51 Front = B46-1177-H1 --What I got.

Dan--
I just got my order today and the're not the right ones!! I received a set of 89-94 Z51 shocks when I should have gotten a set for an 87!!!

I got front shocks B46-1177 and rear B46-1178. I believe I should have received fronts B36-0228 and rears B46-0238.

Soooo, what do we do now folks!??
